Peggy Frank out raised her opponent by $2,595, who reported cash contributions of $14,100 from 28 donors and total receipts of $15,055. If Democrats are going to take back the House of Delegates, one to two of the pick-up will have to be in House Districts west of Richmond. The 7th House District is a winnable District with a large number of unemployed workers due to massive layoffs at Volvo and the other businesses that rely on those workers spending money at those businesses. Dave Nutter strongly defends his vote to turn away the extension in unemployment benefits that would have immediately helped these folks.
